Technical/Tactical – wear navy drifit shirt, and rugby shorts
Feedback: work on set pieces, defensive systems
Objective: focus on applying pressure defensively
Principles: apply pressure

5:00-5:15AM: Passing Warmup (5 people w/creative play) and Dynamic Warm Up

5:15-5:35pm:
Activities: Multi-phase Breakdown Game – need cones laid out everywhere, scrumhalf sprints to the breakdown and passes the ball to first arrival on attack who takes it to ground, attacking team has opposition, scrumhalf plays it from the ground, run several phases, then whistle/number to indicate who is competing at the breakdown
KFA: 1) short steps to drive over 2) D3 aims for first receiver
Focus: Say name of who you have on my hit
Progression: Defense can play to win ball at the breakdown

5:35-5:55pm
Backs/Forwards Split
Backs: Kick receipt, manage pressure with oncoming defense – work as a team of three to counterattack
KFA: 1) Catch ball in air 2) look to pass first, and avoid being tackled to touch
Forwards – Scrum/Lineout series and focus on drive call
KFA: 1) lifters step out from the tunnel to let jumper move 2) tight binding when bringing player to ground
Focus: Movement to different locations, always break gainline
Progression: Move from lineout to phases, to scrum, to lineout on different sides of the pitch

5:55-6:05pm
Activity: Angry Cat Race – Hold for 1 minute, 30 sec. then 15 sec., pickup ball, then race down and back, then switch and place ball
KFA: 1) Eyes forward 2) 90% knee angle
Focus: Players keep track of reps
Progression: duration

6:10-5:20pm – Semi-opposed w/ RGBY/Flow
