Equipment: 4 tackle dummies, 4 hit shields, tackle ring, balls, cones, pinnies, water
Time/Session #: 5:00-6:30pm
Feedback: Increase quality decision making, and support
Objective: Improve ability to commit defenders to conserve, identify, and utilize space
Principles: Continuity/Support

5:00-5:15pm: Passing warm up w/swerve step/hit shields and support – dynamic stretching

5:15-5:35pm:
Activity: Leech Tag – at tag, must have leech player follow them to ground, or turnover ball, tagger must back up three steps, then can contest
KFA: 1) Support player leeches within 2 seconds 2) dot dot dash before tag for ball carrier
Focus:
Progression: Two tag before going to ground – increase defensive support

5:35-5:50pm
Activity: Hit and Transition – hit, drop back, drop, get up, and repeat 5 times – re-align to attack after 5th tackle to attack and score – need 4 bag holders to re-set, 4 lines on tackles, 2 lines to insert into line
KFA 1) player-lead demonstration and discussion 2) include depth and lines of running (straighten up)
Focus: Count times out of 5 hit was synchronous – work to get to 5/5
Progression: Add in two defenders behind tackle bags, attempt to make the stop, go forward and hit tackle ring

5:50-6:10pm Review backrow moves and lineout calls w/full team – demonstration to full group, break into two groups
KFA: 1) understand/identify when to use based on field position 2) focus on creating space and moving forward
Focus: Check for understanding/Demonstrations
Progression: Forwards play role of backs off of the lineout receipt and run starter moves

6:10-6:25pm – Semi-opposed w/RGBY

6:25-6:30pm: Cool Down Stretching
