Feedback: Defensive urgency and continuity
Objective: Increase cohesion prior to competitive match
Principles: Continuity, Apply Pressure
Equipment: 4 tackle bags, balls, cones, pinnies, water

4:00-4:15pm: Passing warm up w/swerve step beyond two players, pass through the hands to finish

4:15-4:40pm:
Activity: Back and Drop Tag – Leech tag w/2 attacking players, 4 closest defenders drop back (all players must retreat 3 steps), drop to ground, then 2 contest/2 setup D1s, when tagged you can pass in contact
KFA: 1) Add Billy on to Leech 2) D1s watch offsides
Focus: Defensive team earns a point when they have two contest, 2 D1s
Progression: Two tag before going to ground – increase defensive support

4:40-5:00pm
Activity: Hit and Gorilla – 4 lines w/tackle bags (short distance), hit, gorilla over the tackle dummy, pickup ball and progress on attack to score, two lines w/3 players on each side, insert into the line to add in support
KFA 1) boxer hands 2) low to high
Focus: Notice re-alignment after the tackle from support players
Progression: Add in two defenders behind tackle bags w/thud tackle

5:00-5:30pm Backs/Forwards Split
Activities:
Backs: Kick and Recover – 4v3
KFA: 1) give w/catch in air 2) pass away to move defense
Forwards: Lineout sequences from different marks
KFA: 1) speed in air 2) lift from the legs

5:30-5:50pm – Semi-opposed w/RGBY

5:50-6:00pm: Cool Down Stretching
