Day/Time/Session: Tuesday, 7:00-8:30pm, Possession (Sports Complex)
Feedback: Continue to increase intensity, controlled contact
Objective: Enhance intensity around contest for possession
Principles: Continuity, Possession
Equipment Needed: Balls, Cones, Pinnies, 1 hit shields
Equipment Group: Ruby – Bella, Kelsey, Ella, Chesney, Kim, Miranda

7:00-7:10pm: Paper, Rock, Scissors Entourage

7:10-7:20pm: 7 person passing line – full field (down and back to middle) – dynamic stretching led by Abby T.

7:20-7:30pm: UK Strength Routine (Led by Bella A.) – 10 jump squats, 20 jumping jacks, 20 T jacks, 5 4 square single leg hops, 5 reverse lunge w/overhead reach, 5 sectional spine rollouts into hand walkouts w/push up, 10 m bear crawl, 5 full arm plank shoulder touches, 5 mountain climber w/trunk rotation, 5 cobra to seal, 10 clam shells, 10 resisted neck crunches

7:30-7:50pm:
Activity: Sideline Fight Drill/Split w/contact activities – Defender holds a hit shield, and can pursue as soon as attacker hits the mid-point – 1v1 until try scored, or pushed to touch/dropped – other half pairs up for scrum pushups (10/10 – switch shoulders, and triangle tracking to hit/drive shoulder thud, score the try/pop to support)
KFA: 1) low center of gravity at contact 2) secure ball and transfer away from contact
Focus: Count tries scored
Progression: Add a second player to clear out the hit shield

7:50-8:00: Activity: Flip Contest to Compete – Flip on whistle, second whistle, sprint back to try zone while color called as attacking team, assign an “A” as ball carrier, then work to score
KFA: 1) grab ball to chest 2) move the ball to inspire forward moment, lead the pass
Focus: Count tries scored
Progression: 2 groups per team for flip contest, poach and play on until second whistle

8:00-8:15: 7v7 w/full opposition – shoulder thud counts as tag only

8:15-8:30pm – Cool Down/Stretch Routine (Led by Abby T.)
Finish w/positive affirmation/announcements led by Bridget M.
